An ISO 5 chair must maintain its cleanroom rating every time someone sits down. The Integra™ includes a filter in the seat that filters the air every time someone sits down, with special cleanroom materials that are easy to clean.
This cleanroom chair can be configured four ways: a standard lab chair, an ISO 5 cleanroom chair with a filter sealed in the seat, rated under ISO 14644-1, an ESD chair for areas without a cleanroom requirement, or a cleanroom ESD chair with both. ISO 5 Cleanroom
ISO 5 rated, with a filter sealed in the underseat shell. A silicone seating surface stands up to constant wipe-downs. For pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device cleanrooms.
ESD Only
Static-dissipative seating surface with a drag chain ground path to the floor. The textured, non-slip surface keeps operators seated back in the chair. For electronics assembly and ESD-protected areas.

Why the Filter Keeps an ISO 5 Chair Clean
Every time someone sits, the cushion compresses and pushes air out through the seat. That air carries particles from the foam and the room back into your controlled space.
The cleanroom Integra sends that air through a filter. The cushion sits in a sealed underseat shell, and the filter catches particles before the air leaves the seat. That is how the chair holds ISO 5 through hundreds of sits a shift.
Match Your ISO 5 Chair to Your Bench Height
Bench height decides the cylinder, and the cylinder decides whether the chair works. We measure from the floor to the top of the work surface, then pick the cylinder that puts the operator at the right height with feet supported.
The Integra covers benches from roughly 26″ through 42″, as a chair or a stool.
Benches at three different heights become three versions of the same chair. We quote them as separate lines so you can see the difference. We also look at whether standardizing the bench height is the better answer. On more than one project it has been.
Build One Chair Program for Every Operator
Most cleanrooms have a mix of tall and petite operators working the same benches. One approved chair in multiple seat sizes and heights fits all of them, and purchasing reorders from one spec instead of starting over every time.
Two seat sizes carry the cleanroom filter: standard at 21″ W x 19″ D and medium at 19″ W x 18″ D.
Petite fit is configured differently by environment. On a cleanroom chair the filtered seat stays full size, so we add a 3″ backrest cushion that brings smaller operators forward. On an ESD-only chair we can shorten the seat itself.
A Large 24″ Footring Prevents Leg Compression
Above about 23″ of seat height, feet stop reaching the floor. A small footring leaves the back of the leg pressed against the seat edge. The 24″ footring gives operators room to rest their feet forward, which takes pressure off the back of the thigh through a long shift.

Cleanroom seating gets wiped down constantly. Isopropyl alcohol several times a shift is common, and many facilities add a sporicidal agent on a schedule.
