Types of Modern Office Cubicles

The right office cubicle configuration depends on your space constraints, workflow and privacy requirements. After 25 years of specifying these systems, here is how we break them down. Every system can be customized in finish, panel height, worksurface, footprint and configuration.

• Rounded, curved and curvilinear. Softer sightlines, better reach, and movement through the office instead of a rigid grid. This is our specialty and the majority of what we install.
• Angular and geometric. Visual variation with strong space efficiency. We specify these when a floor plan has columns or odd angles a curve cannot work around cleanly.
• Acoustic high-panel. Sound-absorbing panels for HR, legal, patient-facing staff and deeply focused work. Teams wanting semi-private rather than enclosed work at 60″.
• Modular and reconfigurable. Layouts that change as teams do. Several of our 10 to 15 year client relationships started with a modular system we have reconfigured through multiple moves.

We have one of the largest dedicated modern cubicle displays in the country. Clients drive up from San Diego, over from Orange County and Riverside, and fly in from across the country for projects of all kinds.

For clients who cannot visit, for large cubicle deployments we can build live virtual walkthroughs and 3D mockups around your actual floor plan. Not a stock rendering library. Panel height drives how a workstation feels to sit in, and it is the most overlooked spec on a floor plan. Most offices do not need one height throughout. A mixed strategy pairs low panels in collaborative zones with taller panels around focus work.
